  1. Tall Fescue mowing height should be a minimum of 3 ½ - 4”
    • Higher mowing height helps control weeds
    • Helps with root depth
    • Helps endure the heat
  2. Grass cycling
    • Adds nutrients back to the soil
    • Aids in microbial life of the soil
  3. Ideally don’t take off more than ? of the grass at one time.
    • Easier said than done.
    • Raise mowing height to alleviate severe cutting
  4. Sharp Blades
    • Reduces tearing and leaf blade damage
    • Looks better
    • Reduces points of entry for disease
